🌹 Home Care Programs
Here are some links to home care programs in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Scotland, England. Although I don’t know the criteria in other countries, I do know that for many home care programs the key to qualifying is the type of personal care you need. It is extremely helpful if you can think about your needs in this area, plus talk about it with your doctor before applying. Please see the personal care section here: How to Apply for Personal Care.
There are also a million great ways to get involved online at #MEAction, an international network of patients empowering each other to fight for health equality for CFS and ME.
It’s hard for homebound people to meet other homebound people! A reader here just started a new Facebook group: “This is a support group for those with ME/CFS who are housebound or bedridden. It’s a safe place to help each other, compare notes, ask advice, and share ideas.” For people in all countries. There are many other wonderful online communities.
